Highlights

The ‘1st AHPADA International Arts and Crafts Expo’ has three major components:

1. EXHIBITION : 22 – 25 November (10:00am – 7:00pm)

The exhibition will feature COUNTRY AND REGIONAL PAVILIONS showcasing the unique arts and crafts that are reflective of the participating countries’ cultural heritage; and have a strong potential in the international market.

SPECIAL SETTING will feature a seamless ASEAN presentation in celebration of its arts and crafts, especially curated by an ASEAN-based Designer/Curator.

SPECIAL SECTION will display the UNESCO-AHPADA Seal of Excellence Awardees.

The MARKET SELLING AREA will serve as venue for participating countries to sell their arts and crafts to the public.

2. BUSINESS FORUM : 22 – 24 November (1:00pm – 4:30pm)

Coinciding with the Exhibition is a Business Forum that will provide an opportunity for participating countries to share knowledge and best practices. Arts and Crafts experts, noted designers, artists, and artisans; and foreign buyers from around the world will join as Speakers and Panelists.

3. CULTURAL EVENTS : 22 – 25 November

Craft Demonstrations at the Country and Regional Pavilions
Cultural Performances at the Exhibit Area

Participating countries will be encouraged to conduct CRAFT DEMONSTRATIONS at their respective pavilions to highlight their skills in arts and crafts; as well as to stage CULTURAL PERFORMANCES at a designated area following this schedule:

Morning Shows : 10:00am to 1:00pm
Afternoon Shows : 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Requests for performance slots together with the concept for both the craft demonstrations and cultural performances have to be submitted to the Event Secretariat.
